Welcome!
Hey there, I'm Molly.
I am a female intermedia artist based in northern Colorado. My practice is focused in graphic design, painting, photography, videography and floral design. My work explores themes of preservation, environmentalism, and feminism.
I started selling my art in 2020 at the age of 13, but I've had a passion for art since I started taking art classes at the age of four. My business officially began with an Etsy shop called PocketOfPoppies, where I sold paintings, cards, and stickers. Now, I have expanded! I take on freelance projects and sell my artwork through our family farm and at local businesses and events.
On this site, you'll find my portfolios, updates on current
projects, contact information, as well as a bit of information
about my inspiration.
Finding Inpsiration
In my practice, I look to explore themes of preservation, environmentalism, and feminism. My work - specifically my paintings - are an expression of emotions, often in regards to current events or simply the world around me. It is an attempt to bring beauty to the ugly and overshadowed aspects of our world, all while building stronger connections with my community.
I am so grateful for the life I have, as I am constantly surrounded by beautiful things. Living in Colorado has given me the greatest supply of inspiration an artist could ask for. The
awe-inspiring views, native plants, and abundant wildlife offer endless subject matter and color palettes to supply both my physical and digital projects. I have also been fortunate enough to travel to some pretty amazing places, which have inspired many of my pieces.
My artwork also includes a plethora of flowers and plants. I find inspiration for these in my family’s flower farm in Niwot, Colorado, and in my own horticultural practices. Often, the varieties of flowers in my paintings reflect those that are currently in bloom in our fields. This association helps me to create a timeline in my artwork and establish a greater connection with the natural world.
I am also very lucky to always be surrounded by a powerful and inspiring group of women. Not only do I have my friends and family, but our flower farm is run by a group of women. Far too often, we hear of stories in which women are told what they can’t or shouldn’t do. My work is meant to reflect the anger and exhaustion that women around the world have to endure simply to keep up, while at the same time, highlighting the beauty, power, and grace that they exemplify.

Graphic Design
As a graphic designer, I am certified in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and I am proficient in Adobe Indesign and After Effects. I am currently pursuing a Bachelors in Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design at Colorado State University to learn new skills and software, stay up-to-date with design trends and to hone my design skills.
I work with clients to develop unique and intriguing visual identities for both new and established brands Design assets include, but are not limited to, logos, color palettes, typography styling, icons, patterns, imagery, and social media graphics.
At school and in my free time I work on digitally-based intermedia projects such as collages.
I have been painting since I was 4 years old and I have slowly been developing my personal style over the years. I work in both watercolor and acrylic, however my focus is mainly acrylic.
In my artworks, I always like to include a 3D or multimedia element. Since I draw a lot of my inspiration from flowers, I have started using pressed flowers, dried flowers, and paper flowers. I also like to create collages with book pages and magazine cutouts to create a base for my paintings.
My paintings are available to purchase, along with a few prints in my store.

Painting
As for photography, my goal is simply to capture beautiful things.
Living in Colorado, I am constantly surrounded by a awe-inspiring views. In my outdoor adventures, I aim to photograph everything, from the largest mountains to the tiniest leaves on the trees.
I work with clients to capture individual essence through portrait, family, branding, and event photography.
I also enjoy macro photography and find my subjects within our family's flower fields.
Floral design is more of a hobby, but I work with Slupik MiniFarm to create floral arrangements, wreaths, corsages, and more. Working with local flowers allows me to create unique, seasonal arrangements.
I do not sell my floral designs independently. If you wish to purchase arragemnets, please visit www.slupikminifarm.com or email info@slupikminifarm.com.
